As technology became more and more ingrained in the daily lives of students, it came as no surprise that it would have to utilized in education in order to insure optimal learning.
The iPad, a smart tablet, was originally created by Apple as a product of entertainment for its users. The iPad allows for its user to connect online download apps, as well as many other interactive features. This tablet was first introduced as a product in 2010, and underwent several updates with each new model
Among the first uses of the iPad for education was its use by the UAE. In 2012 his excellency Sheikh Nahyan Mabrak Al Nahyan the education minister demanded that three federal higher education institutions to use mobile learning for both inside and outside the classroom, UAE education leaders chose the Apple iPad.
This was a very prominent use of the iPad for educational purposes and ever since multiple educators globally have tried to implement its use.
